We're excited to celebrate with you at the Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel in Palo Alto, California! We hope you love this venue as much as we do! It's not only a beautiful hotel with its renovated interior and largest pool in the peninsula-- but it has rich history as well.

The hotel was built in 1962 by Jay Sarno who brought in “statues of the Winged Victory and Michelangelo's David, an elaborate row of fountains with lights, a Roman-themed Nero bar, cypress trees imported from Italy, and waitresses dressed in togas.” In 1966, Sarno used this hotel as a prototype for his new hotel-- Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas-- and took many of the statues there with him. The Cabana was originally owned by Doris Day and drew the Hollywood crowd, including Shirley Claire, Frank Sinatra, and The Beatles. More recently, the Cabana hosted Presidents Clinton, Bush Sr., and Bush Jr. The hotel continues to pay homage to its past via the Beatles and Presidential Suites and by maintaining its relaxed, elegant, classic feel as today’s Crowne Plaza Cabana Hotel.
